The
collection of casts and plaster casts of the museum has been replenished with a
new exhibit - a cast of the footprint of an Amur tiger (Panthera tigris tigris)
from the collection of Alexei Vladimirovich Yablokov (October 3, 1933 - January
10, 2017) - Soviet and Russian biologist, specialist in the field of zoology
and general ecology, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences
(1984), Doctor of Biological Sciences (1966), Professor (1976), Honorary
Chairman of the Moscow Society for the Protection of Animals.
The cast
was donated to the museum by the widow of Alexei Vladimirovich, journalist and
screenwriter Dilbar Nikolaevna Klado.
